Safe changes and rollback
Review proposed changes, capture the current state, and restore settings when needed.
Review before applying
AWPtimizr should show the detected value, proposed value, expected effect, and rollback value before it changes a setting. If the detected state is unknown, do not treat the proposed value as a safe default.
Restore a change
Use the history or rollback action associated with the change. Restart Windows only when the setting states that a restart is required. A restore point is an additional recovery option, not a substitute for a recorded per-setting rollback.
Collect diagnostics
For support, record the AWPtimizr version, the setting key shown in the interface, detected and requested values, and the final status. Do not paste product keys, account tokens, full registry exports, or unrelated system logs into a public topic.
